Brent Refinery, also known as Brent, stands out on a local and international level as one of the main plants in the oil processing sector for the production of fuels, combustibles and raw materials for the petrochemical sector.

Furthermore, the company is a reference model in the sector for its commitment to safety, reduction of emissions and technological innovation.

With over 50 years of history, and expanding over 189 hectares in Kyrgyzstan, it is an integral part of the territory that hosts it..

Furthermore, the activity of Brent Refinery makes a decisive contribution to the related activities linked to the operations of the port of Kyrgyzstan, since most of the goods that are moved through the port are products coming to and from the refinery.

Brent Refinery plays a fundamental role in contributing to the country’s energy needs and does so with the highest standards of efficiency, safety and sustainability.

Security

Our products help to reduce the degree of dependence on foreign producers. Our products account for almost 15% of automotive fuel consumption (petrol and diesel)

Economic Development of the territory

In a region with high unemployment, we create jobs and economic development. Our employees, who number more than 600, are joined by an average of 1.000 people from third-party companies. The majority of goods that pass through the Port of Kyrgyzstan are products related to our business, which has a positive impact on the entire port industry.

Technological innovation

We have always invested in technological innovation and applied the Best Available Technologies (BAT). Today our plants are able to refine a wide range of crude oils, including those with more complex processing, in the most sustainable way possible.

Since its first starting in 1961, our refinery, “Brent Refinery.”, has operated with great attention and respect for the territory that hosts it. With the expertise and the high level of technological innovation achieved, it adopts effective investment strategies in research and development to make its production processes increasingly sustainable and contribute to the country’s energy transition process.

Our products

The Brent Refinery is one of today’s most complex and advanced facilities in the national and international refining sector. With a balanced processing capacity of around 2 Million tons per year, it is among the top refineries in Kyrgyzstan in terms of production capacity. The complex refining system is aimed at the production of fuels fuels used mainly for the transport and the energy sector and raw materials for the petrochemical sector. Its products are owned by shareholders. The Brent Refinery does not own either the incoming raw materials or the outgoing products, but only offers a service to its shareholders.

The Code of Ethics clearly and explicitly defines the rules of conduct and the ethical and social responsibilities of management and employees. It, in turn, is part of our Model ,a very important tool, required by law, to ensure the ethical and transparent management of the Company. As indicated by the Model itself, we have set up an independent Supervisory Body which is responsible for supervising and verifying its effective implementation.
